셀타와 박주영의 바쁜 한주 - 일요일 트레이닝 레포트

Celta completed the recovery training session with no incidents. All players but Natxo Insa were available for Celta’s Coach, and as usual, starters completed a jogging session and a stretching routine before heading into the dressing room.

As usual on Sunday’s sessions, the team spent 30 minutes in the dressing room getting instructions from Hererra and talking about yesterday’s game. There is a lot to review because Celta could not find himself in the field, and until the team was one man down, Celta did not control the game.

I can not continue yesterday’s game analysis without prising Hugo Mallo. If I doubted Mallo’s adaptation to La Liga, I have to admit that Mallo’s latest performances has been of a higher level. Last week he controlled both Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo, and yesterday it was one of the only players to be consistent in his game. Mallo, with just 20 years old, has established himself as one of the best right defenders in the league, at the same level as Martín Montoya, FC Barcelona right defender. Next week he will have to deal with the likes of Andrés Iniesta or Leo Messi, in a chance to present his candidacy to Spain Right Defender position.

Chu-Young Park spent the training session with the reserves and played a small field practice game, where goals were scored on both sides. There is no sign of last week injury apart from the usual bandage he had been using lately. As his condition seems to be good, there is no reason on why Park should not be starting against Almeria this wenesday in the King’s Cup. This game will serve to all those players who have played less minutes, to have a chance to prove Herrera that they have a chance to break into the starting team. Considering Cabral’s sent off, and the consequent ban for Barcelona’s game, this game will also serve to give Samuel some game minutes that will help him get the game rhythm.

After the game, the team will be traveling to Barcelona, where they will spend three days before the game, training at Barcelona the two days before the game.
