Celta de Vigo
has been paired with Almeria in King’s Cup next round. The first leg will be
played in Almeria and the second leg at home in Balaidos. The coincidence is
that Almeria has two Korean youngsters in their Academy, and although they
surely won’t be getting any minutes, it will be curious whether they will meet
in Almeria or not. These two youngsters probably hold Park as their hero, and
would love to share some minutes with the Korean star.
But there was
something else interesting in yesterday’s draw and that is if Celta pass his
elimination match-ups with Almeria, and Real Madrid do the same against
Alcoyano, the two teams will be facing each other on the next round, and that
would be in December.
But first things
first and Celta will have to be on top form to beat second division top ranked
Almeria, who has one of the best pure strikers in the league in Leo Ulloa. The
curiosity is that the Argentinian striker was one of the names that sounded
louder to be Celta’s striker, position that Park filled at the end. Ulloa has
been desired by Celta for a long time, and he will probably be very motivated
to prove Celta was wrong on making the decision.
