박주영 : "내가 확실히 알고 있는 한가지는 다음 경기는 반드시 이겨야만 한다는 것이다." - 수요일 풀 레포트

For the first time this week, Park was able to complete a training session. He came out wearing a bandage in his abductor, but did not suffered pain like yesterday. It is expected to be in top form for the game, if his abductor does not bother him any more. This is good news for Park, and it’s good news for Celta, as the Korean striker knows of the importance of next game after admitting “the only thing I know for sure is that we need to win next game as it’s the most important one".

With Park back to training, Herrera scheduled a training session where the ball was the main key. After the usual physical part, which Park completed fine, Herrera prepared a passing pressing game, but this time with two teams, and with keepers. Players were meant to pass the ball and clear it from the danger zone by short passes. Herrera knows this is Celta’s bread and butter at home, with Celta dominating the game, and marking the pace of it, looking for spaces and getting to the area with at least two players in clear positions. In this part of the training, despite the intensity, Park competed very well both defending and attacking.

After this part of the training, and to end the session, Celta’s coach prepared a quarter side practice game, with the squad divided in 4 teams. Until that time I though Park looked very hungry, fighting every single ball until the end, and then, he scored the most beautiful goal of the session. A right leg shoot from the right corner that went directly to the back of the net. Despite all his efforts, Park could not prevent his team from losing all 3 games his team played. He was in the same team with Toni Rodriguez, Sergio Alvarez, Andres Tunez and Levy Madinda.

If something is to mention, is the fact that Park had some problems in his back, and asked assistance from the physiotherapist that gave him some spray. That happened yesterday as well, but did not think about pain problems until today. But this seems  to be a minor thing.

On the other hand, Hugo Mallo and Augusto had to leave training before it was finished, and we are still waiting for the medical report to know what kind of problems they have.

The courious fact of the day was the presence of Korean coach Yong Kab Kim, Park’s former U19 and U21 coach, and one of his mentors. I spent some time with him, and will post a deep interview very soon.
