This is those kind of matches were you don't have to say anything to motivate the players, as is probably the most awaited game at home this season for both Celta's fans and players. Deportivo is Celta arch-rivals and will probably have an extra motivation coming into Vigo to play against Celta. But this year the tension is not high so everybody is talking about football, so we expect to see a great game, with two teams talking about anything else but football.

Deportivo arrive to Vigo three points behind Celta, with both teams coming out of losses against Real Madrid and Barcelona, but the home advantage makes Celta a little bit more favourite for this game.

For Celta and Deportivo this match is a double edged sword, because if Celta wins, not only they will climb up to the top of the table, but they will make the gap between Deportivo and Celta even bigger, with 6 points separating them. On the other hand, if Deportivo wins today, not they only get away from relegation positions, but they will have the same points like Celta, giving them a morale boost.

KEY TO THE GAME

Deportivo has two big problems for the upcoming match, and those come from the left side of the defence and in the midfield. Herrera pointed that Deportivo's Comombian star, Abel Aguilar, absence will play a key part, mainly affecting Deportivo's air game, and that is why Mario Bermejo's chances increased to be a starter. On the othe hand, Deportivo's Coach Jose Luis Oltra is having a hard time finding his left defender. Evaldo started the season on that position, but failed consistency, meaning on his relegation to the bench. Ayoze has played the last games, but as well is not adjusting well to the team, meaning in a lot of danger coming of Deportivo's left side.

Augusto, MKD and Hugo Mallo should be focusing on exploiting this situation and make a lot of damage on that part of Deportivo's defense. Expect MKD to come to the right side to help Augusto and Mallo finding spaces on the right hand of Celta's attack.
