Last game played: Celta 4 - Almeria 3

The King's Cup has allways been a competition that owes Celta one great year. After being finalist three times, and never winning it, this year the road seems more difficult that ever. Not only Celta will have to eliminate first one of Second Division's top teams, but, in the case of being able to eliminate Almeria, celta will most likely face Real Madrid in December. If all the pairings goes as planned, in the road to the Final Celta will have to defeat all this teams in this order: Almeria, Real Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona. The task seems nearly imposible, but this King's Cup has allways had surprises, and this year it could be no difference. In any case, passing this round and facing Real Madrid will be a gift for the fans, no matter the result.

Celta's Coach, Paco Herrera, has in mind to give minutes to all those players with fewer minutes this season, and that will mean that we will have the possibility to, not only see Park in action, but see many players that have been working hard on every training session to have the chance to win Herrera's favor. Herrera admitted at the press conference, that Cabral, banned for the Barcelona match after being sent off against Deportivo, will be one of the few starters that will play against Almeria. But again this game will be a chance to see two of Celta's Academy pearls, Gabon's international Levy Madinda and Spain u19 international Johny Otto. Madinda's debut is very expected, as if he manages to play as good as he trains, his success is 100 % guaranteed.

KEY TO THE GAME

Celta's reserves need to prove they are ready to support the team not only in the Cup but also in the league. Most of Celta's reserves were among the best players last season in the Second Division, so that should serve as a guarantee for this game. Celta needs to be able to keep playing the same style of football despite all the changes in the formation.

The expected attacking formation need to focus on making good combinations and moving the ball quickly to prevent Almeria to control the rhythm .of the game. the biggest doubt is to see if Levy Madinda and Cristian Bustos can both destroy and create football quickly enough to exploit Celta's attacking qualities.

CELTA'S FORMATION

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Leo Ulloa: the Argentinian striker was last season top goalscorer in the second division, ahead off Iago Aspas who was second. Ulloa was also rummored to be Celta's main option for the striker position last summer just before Park signed for Celta. He has been relegated to the bench since the start of the season, and will probably have his chance in this game.

Park: It has to be his night, playing alongside some of his best mates in the squad, recovered from the injury that stopped him from playing at 100 % in the last 3 games, the Korean striker needs to put on a show and demonstrate that his place is on the starting line-up on every single game.
