CD Lugo전에서 훌륭했던 Bermejo는박주영의 선발 자리를 원합니다.

Thick mist covered Celta’s training centre, making it an impossible mission to find the players on the field, but you could tell spirits were high, and for various reasons. Tomorrow after the training session, players will enjoy two days off, and that it’s something they are really looking for after weeks of cruel competition. Apart, these two days will let the players relax and head into the Real Madrid game with a new mood after disconnecting for two days.

But apart from that, spirit is high because yesterday Celta beat CD Lugo 3-1 in a friendly game played at Balaidos. This friendly game was scheduled to see the condition of some of the players that were expected to make an impact on the team such as Samuel Llorca, or others that were hungry for minutes of game. But there was someone who seemed to have something to prove, and that was Mario Bermejo. After being relegated to the bench in the league after Park’s arrival, Mario put a lovely display netting two beautiful goals and an assist.  The two goals were brilliant strikes, the first being a free kick well executed that went directly to the top corner where the keeper could do nothing but see how the ball was getting inside the net. The second one after a volley that again went to the top corner. This display by Mario is what Celta’s coach was looking for, keeping Mario up in shape, and with the accuracy ready to fire.

In this mood and despite the mist, players looked happy on the field, and that reflected on the exercises. All were jokes and smiles talking about what they were going to do during the two days break., but despite all happiness, Paco Herrera always wants his player to be 100 % concentrated, and so he demanded during the session more focus from his players.

Herrera knows complacency could be Celta’s worst enemy, as there is no way they will be able to achieve anything if they don’t play at a 120% concentration, but Celta’s coach is a master when handling dressing rooms, and has always been capable to control Celta’s, which is full of youngsters, and part of Celta’s good position and results resides in that fact.

Good news was to see Quique De Lucas and Toni Rodriguez back to training with the rest of the squad, as they both have been sidelined due to different injuries.. Andres Tunez is still working on a different routine trying to be ready for Celta's next game.

After a soft training session without goalkeepers Bermejo stated “I am very happy with the minutes I have been playing so far. If last year at this time they told me this season was going to be as it-s been I would accept it very grateful, and I have to be grateful with the minutes I have played”. He also talked about the possibility to play as a starter against Real Madrid “obviously being the air game Real Madrid weakness opens possibility for me, but I think we have to concentrate on Celta’s game, and not change depending on Celta’s rival”. He stated “that scoring goals is always good for players, and more for strikers, so yesterday performance helps to boost my morale and keep in good shape”.

The team has just one more training session before getting a two day break from training.
