매치프리뷰 : 셀타 대 바르셀로나

Venue: CAMP NOU
Capacity: 99.954
Time: 6:00 P.M.

Refree: Fernandez Borbalan

If there is a bad time to play against what possible is the best attack in the world, is when you not only have your best central defender banned but his replacement injured, and that is the situation that Celta will be facing against Barcelona. With Cabral banned and Samuel injured against Almeria, Jonathan Vila, Herrera's fourth choice, will have his chance to debut this season in a game that could mark his future. Herrera has decide not to call any more players, and won't have any central defenders on the bench, with the only defender being Bellvis, which plays as a left defender.

This situation might force Herrera to opt for a 4-4-2 formation, as his only Central Midfielder availible for the bench, Bustos, might be needed if something happens in the defensive line. With that being said, there should be no doubt about who will be playing with Aspas on the attacking line, and that men should be Mario Bermejo, as he completed a brilliant game against Deportivo, scoring a goal. Park and De Lucas had their chance to demand a chance as a starter, but both failed to shine against Almeria in Celta's King's Cup loss.

KEY TO THE GAME

To obtain some gain against Barcelona, Celta will need something more than do a perfect game, and they also need some luck during the game. The absences might force Herrera to be faithful to his principles and play with a 4-4-2 formation, the same that has been giving Celta good result at home. With that formation the contribution of Oubina and Alex Lopez has to be very high, but they will also need assistance by wingers when containing Barcelona's attack.

Celta and Barcelona try to play the same kind of style, and Celta should learn from that to know that they need to start the pressure on Barcelona's players as soon as the ball leaves Valdes' area. That way is the only way to try to get the ball from Barcelona. If you try to wait for Barcelona, they will kill you, and assuming that is going to happen, why not at least die fighting, and maybe, only maybe David will beat Goliath again.

CELTA'S FORMATION

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Messi: the Argentinian striker is probably hyper motivated after being father just days ago. There is no need to introduce or say what Messi is capable off, as he is probably the best player to ever play football. Las season he beat all records by scoring 50 goals in just one season. He is on his way to win another Golden ball, and has, at his age, become a football icon.

Augusto: all those who know Augusto, will know he is happier than ever. He has been called up to play for Argentina for the third time in his career, and had just know he is expecting his second child, so if you need to find someone motivated for this game in Celta squad, that has to be Augusto. Expect to try to take advantage of Jordi Alba's attacking tendency to exploit his appearances on the right side of Celta's attack..
